The Move In.

In my previous post I talked about "5 Things They Don't Tell You About Moving In Together." I wanted to take a step further in today's post to tell you a more detailed account of things I did and have noticed about the days following the move in with my ex (almost) husband.

When we were dating and before we got married my ex (almost) husband was all about getting married after we graduated college and started a career. He was in school to become a physical therapist and it would have taken more than 5 years to complete all the schooling, etc. that he needed to start a career.

... then less than 6 months later we found out that I was pregnant with my now 3 year old... and he proposed. THIS was a red flag for my parents... why I did not listen? I don't know.

I honestly don't even remember them saying anything about it.

Other before we were married things I knew but never addressed... I knew he was a cheater. I found videos, images, text messages, etc. on his p…

Pooh Bear says...

Let's start Disney Fun Friday off with my favorite childhood character, Winnie the Pooh.

I loved Winnie the Pooh everything when I was little. You could call me a fanatic! I had a little "treasure" box with toys in it that had pooh all over the outside of it. I believe I still have it or my little sister does. Anything Winnie the Pooh that you can think of, I loved it! I even decorated my daughters bed in Winnie the Pooh bedding when she was born.

Pooh has a lot of amazing advice and many life changing quotes for self empowerment and improvement. Today I picked out a quote that really speaks to me and my current situations in life.

"The things that make me different, are the things that make me." -Winnie the Pooh

This is so true. Every single day someone will criticize you for being you, and you have to keep moving forward. Take one step at a time and take criticism lightly. If changes need to be made, make note and keep moving forward.

Otherwise.... be yourself.

I am told constantly that I have an attitude, that I get overwhelmed to easily, that I am negative. I have come to realize these things about myself. I know that I need to change those things about my personality. Still... I know that I have an amazing personality.

The issue is.. how do you find your amazing personality when you are in a sea of criticism?

Just remember to take it for what it is and keep stepping.
