The Move In.

In my previous post I talked about "5 Things They Don't Tell You About Moving In Together." I wanted to take a step further in today's post to tell you a more detailed account of things I did and have noticed about the days following the move in with my ex (almost) husband.

When we were dating and before we got married my ex (almost) husband was all about getting married after we graduated college and started a career. He was in school to become a physical therapist and it would have taken more than 5 years to complete all the schooling, etc. that he needed to start a career.

... then less than 6 months later we found out that I was pregnant with my now 3 year old... and he proposed. THIS was a red flag for my parents... why I did not listen? I don't know.

I honestly don't even remember them saying anything about it.

Other before we were married things I knew but never addressed... I knew he was a cheater. I found videos, images, text messages, etc. on his p…

Have you ever looked back with a new perspective and realized that everything you thought you were wasn't completely true?

There are a list of things I would consider myself... for instance: giving, loving, caring, thoughtful, kind... BUT there are a few things I learned about myself in 2017 that I know now cannot be apart of me in 2018.

My word (or hashtag) for the year is #Positive and I will use this hashtag and word in every post, on every photo, in every way that I can. By doing that I hope that I will be able to remind myself daily and maybe even every few hours to stay #positive.

If you haven't read about the last few years of my life I encourage you to head over and read my first blog post. I haven't had a great run with adulthood so far, but I know there is a reason for everything. And as often as I say that, I need to start believing it and being more #Positive about life.

There is always something to be thankful for. So to kick off the year ... AND to keep reminding myself to stay #Positive I will be doing a few different blog series this year. These include: "Things I am Thankful for this Week" and "Verse/Quote of the Day" posts.

More of my story to come...

So stay tuned and share with your friends.
